Pete Berthelsen will provide several presentations to the Heartland Apicultural Society about The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund program called Seed A Legacy and the establishment and management of high quality pollinator habitat.

Pete Berthelsen will be working with the University of Minnesota Bee Lab to conduct a training workshop pollinator habitat and how it fits into beekeeping operations, honey bee health and agriculture.  This workshop will be held at the famous Horst Rechelbacher Farm where demonstration pollinator forage projects have been in the works for several years.

Pete Berthelsen will provide a presentation to the Nebraska Environmental Trust board about the importance of pollinators and pollinator habitat.

Pete Berthelsen will help host a field tour in which Entomological Society of America members will be able to review and discuss the Bee Integrated program habitat outcomes as well as those of The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund.

Pete Berthelsen will provide a presentation called ‘The Art & Science of Creating Great Pollinator Habitat’ in the Let’s Do Something! Implementing Collaborative Solutions for Pollinators in the Agricultural Landscape symposium at the Entomology 2018 International Conference.

Pete Berthelsen is a member of the MJV Steering Committee representing The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund.  The MJV develops a national monarch conservation implementation plan that provides support for ongoing conservation actions.  Monarch butterfly conservation requires an "all hands on deck" type of approach to document successful population impacts ahead of the US Fish & Wildlife Service  anticipated Endangered Species Act...

American Beekeeping Federation National Convention, Myrtle Beach, SC Pete Berthelsen will be presenting on behalf of The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund on January 11th with a presentation entitled “The Art & Science of Getting Great Honey Bee Forage on the Landscape.”

National Association of Conservation Districts annual meeting, San Antonio, TX Pete Berthelsen will be representing The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund at the event and hosting an informational booth.
