Pete Berthelsen will be hosting a “Sustainability Sumer Camp” for youth through a program with the Central Community College, Grand Island, NE. This farm is used as an ‘outdoor laboratory’ to demonstrate how high quality habitat projects function within agriculture.  Some of the activities will include looking at the results and impacts of:

• Prescribed fire and managed grazing
• Wildflower seed production plots
• Monarch butterfly life history and citizen science tagging activities.
• Native prairie management
• USDA conservation programs
